Home Inclusion

E-Learning is a provision mostly offered to students who may not be achieving their full potential within certain subject areas. Students who attend may include those who are vulnerable and challenging, have problems with social relationships, are bullied, have poor literacy or numeracy skills or those who have become disaffected and have refused to go to school for prolonged periods. It is not only the vulnerable and challenging students that are offered E-Learning sessions. E-Learning sessions are offered to all students, who we feel may benefit from the extra support.

Each student is provided with a unique personalised timetable, designed by taking into account where they are missing out on learning in specific subject areas. The E-Learners will use software such as Accipio, Sam Learning and other on-line resources to complete their work.

We also have some students who learn from home. These students use the Accipio Live lessons, which are taught by a teacher in a virtual school. Our role with these students is to carry out home visits to support them, monitor progress, and resolve any issues.
